Nestled in the SkyPark Office complex in the southern California neighborhood of Torrance, the facility is surrounded by meandering lushly landscaped pathways bordered by rock formations, waterfalls and ponds.
Our lobby was designed to be a private place for parents and siblings to relax during surgery. At Cove, only one complex reconstructive procedure is typically performed each day, so each family will have the Surgery Center all to themselves. With a large comfortable sofa bed, large flatscreen TV, it feels more like a “home away from home” than a Surgery Center.

Cove Surgery Center was built to the highest standards for Ambulatory Surgical Centers, and is accredited by both Medicare and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Our pediatric anesthesiologists are board certified physicians on staff at the major Los Angeles area hospitals with extensive experience caring for both healthy and critically ill babies and children needing surgery. The nurses at Cove Surgery Center were hand-selected for their experience in pediatrics.

Our state-of-the-art surgical suite has the most advanced surgical and anesthesia equipment available. The hospital-grade air filtration system ensures a clean, sterile environment. Modern recovery rooms are designed with comfort and safety in mind. With the nurse’s station just steps away, each private room is equipped with a comfortable bed, flat screen tv, internet access, and seating for family.

With families traveling from all around the world to have reconstructive surgery at Cove, we strive to make our patients feel special and loved. Our multicultural staff speaks many languages including Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Japanese. Each child is given a stuffed animal to join them in surgery. Customized dressings are made with lots of “Tender Loving Care”. When you leave at the end of your loved one’s procedure, we hope you can tell how much our staff and doctors care about our patients.
